Fresh new looking hostel, good sized room and bathroom. Very peaceful location. Breakfast of hot coffee.medialunas and jams, it's a little away from the heartbeat 'touristy' Salta but still within walking distance so you can walk in one direction to local neighbourhoods and the other into town. Walking distance to thd bus station too. The lady on night shift was particularly friendly.
Wifi only really worked in the dining area. There's a kitchen which we're advised to ask staff before we use. We only wanted to borrow some utensils to eat (we didn't cook) but that seemed to be a big request!
The location is close to the bus station, and in walking distance of the central square.
There was black mold in the bathroom. Not a single person of the staff spoke english. The bide in our room did not work. My girlfriend got several insect bites in a sircular form during the night, so we suspect that there were bed bugs. The design of the rooms was pretty cheap. The wifi reception in the room was terrible, and at one point it didn't even work in the common area for several hours. I told the staff that it wasn't working, and they just gave me the wifi password once again..
