It was cheap.
Possibility to buy pesos at a relatively good rate.
Good location. Despite the fact they only spoke spanish the staff was friendly.
I really liked the Asado night. It's a good way to know new people
and have some fun. Good position, it's in the middle of the historic
center. Really cheap.
Comfortable bed.

Ok, it's not a 4 star hotel and it's really cheap but, in the
same time, I can say that I found, in my journey, better places. Rooms
are really small, no lockers, bathrooms are quite dirty and in one of
them there wasn't cold water...yes, cold water. There was just hot
water and after the shower I was like a lobster! The kitchen is too
small and not so good.
This hostel would benefit from a little TLC
The breakfast was very poor and there was ants in the kitchen.
It's untidy. Nothing works. The personal is unfriendly. The TV was old and did not well. They allowed smoking in the lounge which is forbidden by law in Argentina for guest which lived for some weeks there.
Unbelievably dirty, staff just sat at the computer and did nothing it blast their music all day, which meant it was impossible to sleep! At breakfast there was no coffee cups, or plates. The place was disgusting - the bathroom and the bedroom was one room, separated by a thin piece of glass. - basically your partner hears everything - so much for maintaining some privacy! Staff were useless, place was loud and dirty - do not stay here unless every single other thing in Salta is booked up!.
