  The cabin we stayed in is nice and clean with 2 floors, double bed upstair and twin beds down stair. Kitchen,fridge,microwave provided. We stayed for 3 nights. We had a good time trekking even though the second day was too windy and we couldn't go up to Fitz Roy. We had the last day with perfect weather.   We booked a two person cabin, which turned out to be really tiny, so when the owner offered us a 6 person cabin for a bit extra we jumped at the chance (it's off season so very quiet in town). The 6 person cabin was so much more spacious and comfortable - I can't imagine spending 4 nights in the 2 person one, it really is too small (ok for one per... vad folk säger » son).   The lady who works the front desk was extremely kind and patient with our elementary ability to communicate in Spanish. We really liked how, given our interest in learning the language, she took the time to teach us phrases before venturing out for a hike, eating breakfast, and when checking in.   We took a bus from El Calafate, and the bus dropped us in front of the hostel, 1 block from the hotel which was very convenient. Staffs were friendly, but the room was ordinary. There was nothing special about, but clean, had basic things.   Gabriela was very helpful with suggestions! With the beer at the hotel comes a bowl of popcorn and the dinner we had one evening, was excellent!
