  Breakfast was great meeting other travelers from around the world, very casual and relaxing. Nice setting in Tropic flora, nice west coast location for travelling either direction. - Everything. Everyone was so nice and friendly, breakfast was simple but perfect. I loved the animals and the proximity to a great hiking trail.

  This is a perfect domestic house! Maureen and Dean are kindness and wonderful people. Every day's handmade breakfast has been fresh and tasty. There is the magic welcoming atmosphere inside the house and on the Ireland. Maureen's house is very beautiful with the charming rooms and the garden around the house. Absolutely recomend this B&B and if I go again to big island I definitely return here.

  We stayed for 3 nights in February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Terrie (the owner) is very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the local area she provided us with lots of information about what to see and do - and there is quite a lot, stuff you don't read about in the regular travel books. Everywhere was very clean and the accommodation is in a very peaceful lo - It´s perfect! Our suite was comfortable, clean and cozy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! (Fresh papaya with other fruits and yoghurt, and freshly baked bread or muffins). Location is absolutely wonderful, very tropical. Wifi worked great. Pahoa is a good base to start many excursions, even though it´s on the rainy side of the island.
