Impeccably clean, tasteful, unfussy and well run, with every consideration given to providing for the comfort of guests; we saw that business people, families, a young couple, as well as us oldies were equally happy. A nice and peaceful location. Only a couple of miles away from Newmarket.
The breakfast was great. Really set me up for the day. A nice added touch to have a little bottle of Actimel to drink.
The room was nice and comfortable and a good size.
Was really kind of Wally to give me and my daughter a lift into Newmarket in the morning instead of having to get a taxi.
If we do visit Newmarket again we would consider staying again.

I loved this B&B so much I am now booking -
David offered to drive me to the local pub and collect me when I had finished because I had been driving in thick fog in the dark and was nervous of going out in it again (and I needed some dinner). I settled on staying put and he kindly made me a sandwich to keep me going until my lovely breakfast the following morning. Thanks David x

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and was so pleased with our little cottage. The fire was lit ready for our arrival, there was a little mini bar, breakfast cereals fresh bread, yoghurts milk etc? Everything was fantastic here. The staff brought you breakfast when you requested and nothing was too much hassle for them. nothing was too much trouble Neil & Gill were the perfect hosts..we had a power cut due to a storm & soon Neil came with a torch to help us. such a joy to be so relaxed & made to feel very welcome in the evening along with the locals in the pub. food cannot fault it for quality & price.very good. good choice of fresh meat & veg too. highly recommended from us.

Room clean and tidy, good thick towels. The Bell is a pub, so if you dont want to hear the noises of a Pub, dont stay here!
I was above the kitchen which was noisy during service, but was quiet long before I went to sleep!
The rump steak was superb, with a lovely Pepper corn sauce. I have paid a lot more for places that were not as nice.
