The room was clean and smart. The fact that we could choose and buy films to watch was good.The breakfast choice was excellent and the fact that we could choose how much and what we wanted to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite.
The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue.
Breakfast was excellent & service quick and friendly, a good choice of hot & cold.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, The staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough to help. the room was beautiful and clean, the location was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding in the area - just wish we had more time to spend at the hotel. - Comfortable staying overnight on buisiness

For the website price it is a great venue for any celebration - rooms are fine and spacious - if you can't stomach the 13 quid breakfast then theres a sainsburys close with a new cafe in development (!) Have been to a wedding and a ball at this hotel and both do's have been good - bar staff nice afterwards - Very clean and good standard of furnish
