  I was within walking distance of the General Hospital to be near my daughter when she was a patient. A similar distance in the other direction took me to the High Street where I filled my time in the shops and a cafe, and was met with friendliness and courtesty at Reception. We even had our towels changed on a two night stay. Breakfast also excellent.

  It was all so homely and another worldy. Loved our bedroom number 8 overlooking the square. Yes, there was a little bit of traffic noise and mild rowdy youths reclaiming their car at night BUT it was atmospheric to feel part of a community. I loved it and I am usually adverse to noise. I loved it! - The hotel building is beautiful outside and just a short walk from the River Thames at the back. The rooms are very spacious and the beds comfortable. Lechlade is a very attractive Cotswold village, with lovely houses and church.

  All of it, the welcome on arrival, very clean room, the bed was the most comfortable I've used. Staff second to none.....Would certainly go again :-) Excellent !!! - Excellent staff. Friendly but professional. Bedroom spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast very enjoyable. Wonderful location.

  Despite my very last minute booking on the afternoon of my planned visit, Sue and Adrian gave us a very warm welcome and everything was ready for our arrival. We had a generous welcome pack, including flowers which was lovely. - Brilliant acommodation, very friendly and helpful staff

  Clean, comfortable accommodation; good selection of cider, beer and wine; fantastic selection of food on the restaurant menu (the pies are amazing!); innovative breakfast menu. - Everything was wonderful from the staff to the food nothing was too much trouble. I would stay longer next time.
