Too much to say in one review, I stay away at least two nights a week. It takes a lot for me to a) really impressed and b) almost speechless, however being shown to Room 5 did both those things!! The room itself was huge, and I mean huge. Open plan bath room, with bath and walk in wet room shower, everything in the room was quality from the slate on the walls and floor in bathroom to the Bose ipod dock. However the thing that dominates the room is the view, ceiling to floor (almost) glass windo.
все обзоры » wow the lewinnick lodge is amazing, everything about our stay was fantastic, we stayed for two nights in the sunrise room. huge room with views over fistral beach, room spotless and the king size bed was very comfortable, bose I-pod dock, walk n shower and roll top bath by the window, breakfast included and was very good, we had dinner on both nights and was also excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful, fresh milk delivered to our room for tea and coffee if you want good food, great. The room was decorated to the highest of standards and had excellent faciltites. They were clean, spacious and had the most incredible views of the sea. Without a shadow of a doubt the bed is the most comfiest bed ive ever slept in and thats a statement as my owns pretty impressive.The staff were very welcoming and friendly and catered to our every needs. The food was second to none....delicious. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, as im a frequent visitor to Newquay for business, im already. The views from my room were breath taking and my room was unique, fabulously clean and the bed was very comfy too. The staff were attentive and very helpful, I like the idea that we have a 'Host' who is there to assist you if you need it. I loved the food, fresh and tasty. I cannot fault the Lewinnick Lodge, they have a winner here with the addition of accomodation. Cannot wait to stay again! Nice to see they are doggy friendly too! I loved it!!. Everything, from the staff at the bar/reception/restaurant, to the room, the unbelievable location, was perfect. We arrived at noon and although check-in was only at 2 pm, our room was clean and they gave us the key without even asking for it ! We stayed in room nr. 2 which was wonderfull with a never to forget vieuw ! All these positive things are "hand-made". One thing however you cannot fake is the atmosphere and it was perfect !!!. Accommodation was superb with great views of the coastline and probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (Rm 1). Food was good and not too overpriced for the location. We found the vast majority of the staff were friendly and very helpful. I think due to the cost its a one off treat every few years but hope to go back at some point. Lewinnick Lodge is a amazing place to visit with fantastic sea views, (any closer to the sea and you would be in it!) The food was very good and at good price. The restaurant is always busy which speaks for it self, but the sevice good and never slow. I would recommend this place to anyone and would revisit myself. Lewinnick Lodge is amazing… stayed for a few days for my birthday and it couldn't have been better. The seaview room did it disappoint in any way… being woken by the sunrise was a perfect start to the day. The bed was massive and so comfortable, the huge bathroom luxurious and the decor relaxing. The room was well equipped & the views from the triple aspect windows over the Atlantic were wonderful. Aptly named sunset room ! As other guests have said the bed was really comfortable. The walk in shower & bath with a view were superb. We had the most amazing weekend, the staff were fantastic, Leanne was truly a star! We can't wait to return, I would and have highly recommended both the lodge, bar and wonderful restaurant to everyone - Thanks to you all, Paula and Grant. You would have to be mad to find something wrong. The fact i only stayed for 1 night. nothing!. Nothing, but if I want to be really fussy : no (garbage) basket in the bathroom and poor light in the bathroom for putting on make-up. Then again, the light in bathroom above the sinks are very nice and give nice soft light and the light in the room was beautifull because of the huge windows with bright natural daylight ... Life isn't perfect and you can always find something wrong if you look but there was nothing that spoiled our visit. Drinks were a bit pricy but probably no different than anywhere in Newquay. Being really picky, you can't plug the hairdryer in anywhere near a mirror and there is no full length mirror. Didn't spoil my stay at all though!. Very difficult to find anything not to like. Maybe tea as well as coffee in room & not enough shelf space in shower for shower gel, shampoo, conditioner & sponge but that is being hyper fussy. If that's all we can find wrong then you're onto a good thing. Internet was out if use. The complex shower (difficult to understand) and the open plan meant it steamed up the windows and hid the view at night! (opening the windows cleared the steam) Restaurant was noisy and busy but not loutish (book/eat early to avoid) You would have to wait until quite late to enjoy the tranquility of the night and the sound of the waves when patrons left the balcony area below your room. Slightly off the beaten track but views and tranquility more than compensated. Our bar bill,oops !. Nothing to dislike. Situated above a pub, it can be a bit noisy at kicking out time. But, with the windows closed the sound is quite minimal. The upstairs hallways, and the colour of the room doors. The overall decor of the whole establishment was super. There was no dress down service in the evening, so we had dirty cups for the morning which we had to wash out in the sink! Just a little thing but for a quality hotel I was expecting that. The only negative I can think of is we didn't have a mirror in the bedroom. Nothing. the dining room was too noisy, probably because it was a Saturday night, and fantastic weather. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, but had to almost shout to have a conversation. I would have to pick at flies to name anything. Lewinnick Lodge was perfect. Paying a high premium for the location. No energie plugs and rubish bins in the bathroom. Nothing. Nothing really. Little bit of a problem with the TV which didn't get sorted until the following day. There was nothing to dislike. Hotel entrance from the rest of the building was not clearly visable. Need to have clear hotel signage. Liked all. Nothing. Town of Newquay scruffy and tired. Absolutely nothing!!. Nothing. Poor lighting in bathroom Lack of toiletries such as cotton pads etc. Nothing. I liked it all. Wi if was not great. Not much to do in Newquay itself (unless you surf).
