  Carperby is a typical Dales small village, with a small number of Stone cottages/houses close to Leyburn & Hawes. The Wheatsheaf is a lovely friendly pub/hotel with 15 rooms and has some wonderful views, walks and local attractions. Local beers & quality wines - From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The staff are so welcoming & really cannot do enough for you. Our room which was room 9 was a four poster & it was lovely, absolutely spotless. Food is great, also the real ales. Claire & Emily are great hosts, and really made our stay fantastic. We will be returning again very soon. Would highly recommended the Wheatsheaf, brilliant place, great location, absolutely stunning views.

  Absolutely loved staying at the Aysgarth Falls hotel. Staff were incredibly helpful and attentive and nothing seemed too much trouble, be it letting us store our bikes in the cellar or providing directions for trips out. We paid extra for the superior room and was certainly worth it, soaking in the huge roll top bath was a dream. Then rela - An absolutely fabulous renovation! Beautifully and sympathetically decorated and furnished throughout. The room we were staying in was a little small (room 8) but ample enough for a king size bed and this was the smallest room in the hotel. As we were only staying there for one night, it didn't really bother us, however, next time we stay we will try and book a room with a bath and shower.   The house is beautiful and the rooms are well presented and large. We had an 8 month old with us and the staff provided a cot and high chair which was great. The extra benefit of Stow house was there is a lounge and help yourself bar downstairs which meant we could have a relax downstairs while our baby slept (our baby monitor was very effective f... что говорят » or this). The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. - The room was lovely, as was the whole of Stow. Beautiful view of the hills and the Falls are just a short walk away. Although they don't serve food in the evening, they kindly recommended a couple of places to eat and booked us a table at our chosen one - The George & Dragon, which was wonderful! The venue, food and staff there were great too. We'll be back to both, again.

  After some mix-up (on my behalf) in locating Wensleydale Farm House B&B - what a wonderful place this is. We were greeted warmly by Steph who made us feel so welcome by providing wonderful coffee and home made cake on our arrival. The room was beautifully decorated and we instantly felt so at home. Paul and Steph were wonderful hosts and we would recommend this to anyone at - Really friendly and helpful owners. Very clean and comfortable. Attractive decor. Brilliant location for walking to Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle. About 40m from hotel serving nice food and beverage. I am quite particular when it comes to staying in accommodation away from home. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

  Me and my sister stayed here for 1 night as we passed through doing the Herriot Way. Such a warm welcome – so friendly and accommodating. Once our wet clothes had been sorted out, we were treated to a pot of tea and homemade muffins. The private bathroom was huge, with the bath most enjoyable after a wet day in the hills! We had a fantastic evening, and felt very relaxed and at ease with our hosts looking after us. - Warm welcome from Ros and Bob who made us feel at home and looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, we left a bag overnight whilst off cycling, stored our bikes in an outbuilding, and had the use of a spare bathroom as well as an en suite shower on special request. On arrival we were greeted with tea and cakes. Breakfast was cooked to order, fresh and tasty, great choice in cooked menu. Chocolates in the room were a nice touch after a day out cycling! A very enjoyable experience overall.
