We stayed one night and loved this hotel. Very well and uniqely designed rooms. Great hospitality. It is very well positioned in the little Sirince village. Usually there are many tourists day and night in the village but stonehouse hotel is completely hidden, although 3 mins walk to the center of sirince, which provided a perfectly calm stay...

The hotel is located in the picturesque village of Sirince, just few kilometres from Ephesus. The view is spectacular, the service friendly and efficient. It is a peaceful and relaxing place with the atmosphere of a farm. You wake up with the smells and sounds of the mediterranean countryside. You can swim in the pool very early and relax in the hammocks under the trees after a hectic day in the amazing nearby ancient sites. The breakfast was delicious with local products and the hosts were incredible friendly and accommodating. This is the kind of place that makes you fall in love with Turkey forever.

We loved the peaceful farmstay accommodation, the authentic stone cottages and the very helpful hosts. The restful ambience of Stonehouse was delightful after the hectic pace of Istanbul. We appreciated the swimming pool after a busy day's sightseeing.

The service and well appointed rooms are worth a stop here. Two nights is ideal.

Location is difficult to find. Signage is not accurate -- directs you to a villa outside of town.

The Stonehouse was one of the best hotels I ever stayed. Not because of the luxury, no bathrobes, no slippers, no whole array of complementary beauty product, no bubble bath, no mini bar. In nothing this hotel resembles the supposed luxury of the bigger chain hotels. Instead the Stone house offers you an attentive and personal approach. In the midst of a beautiful garden of peach and olive trees overlooking the arcadic hills around Sirince this old Greek wine farm is transformed to a small boutique hotel. Rooms are located in separate small buildings in the garden. All the rooms are decorated with genuine antiquities (not the kitsch you would expect when reading this) giving the hotel and atmosphere if you were a guest of wealthy Turkish aristocrat (which you probably are). The small number of staff are super friendly, without asking they peel you an apple, poor you a cup of tea or give you a homemade cookie. At night you can play records on an old gramophone or watch a movie in the outdoor private cinema. The best part is the breakfast, like all Turkish breakfasts it is good and healthy but this breakfast has two special things. First of all the view from the veranda over the hills, olives, peaches and cypresses make you feel in Tuscany (that is what you read about Sirince and that is both true for the landscape and for the number of tourist in the village) But secondly although this breakfast has roughly the same ingredients as the normal Turkish breakfast the quality and variety is far better than you find elsewhere. Everyday a different home mad hot pastry, olives, jams and other products from the garden, homemade goats yogurt, cheeses etc. Don’t let the fact that Sirince is already discovered by other tourist put you of. A stay in the Storehouse alone is worth a visit to Turkey.

I absolutely loved it. It was in a quaint little town up in the mountains. The staff was great; the main guy went and got groceries for us on his motorcycle the first night and he was the same guy making us breakfast every morning (which was included) and was excellent and quite filling. He even bought a few toys for the boys. He barely spoke any english but he was warm, hospitable & lovely.

The internet was a bit splotchy but it wasn't really their fault. They sent a few guys out to fix it right away.

The eclectic decor, and homemade food.

Too expensive for what you received.
