  Our 1st contact was when we were seeking directions & actually asked the owner who was on a scooter, downtown. He immediately turned around & escorted us to the accommodation. While the rooms are basic, they are exceptionally clean, comfortable & we had a lovely aspect out onto a large grassed, garden area, which had plenty of seating ... что говорят » & tables for relaxing. Breakfast was a communale affair with a full array of great Turkish food, the host took pride in cooking a special omelet f - This was one of the simpler accommodations we stayed at during our trip, yet somehow it was one of the most pleasurable stays we had. The pension is simple but very clean with a very large garden. Our room was large with very high ceilings and comfortable bed. Not sure whether this was the proximity to the mountains (and hence a wonderful air) or something else, but I felt transported to my childhood summer stays at the country side. It was wonderful.

  We loved the peacefulness of thishotel high above the city with cooling breezes.but close enough to the ancient monuments. The rooms are large, very comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant serves good quality meals at reasonable prices. There is a large lawn and outdoor seating. The staff are warm friendly and helpful, one speaks excelle... что говорят » nt English. This is a delightful hotel where you can get away from the noise and bustle of tourist places. - Clean, well-decorated room, bathroom fully equipped with essential amenities. In a tranquil area. Good view of the town from the garden. Restaurant with a good selection of local and international food, with local and international wine. Staff fluent in English and very helpful. Close to Acropolis (we had a late breakfast but got there by 9:30, came back to the hotel, got a shower and checked out by 13:00 - very handy on a hot day).

  We stayed at the Pegamum Pension recently. Ozden and Nuray Bavli were the perfect hosts 'our home is yours', and indeed we felt at home. Nuray is a wonderful cook and her breakfast is the best we have tasted in Turkey, not only for its variety, but also for the quality of home cooked jams, preserves and even thinly layered rich chocolate cake. Our goal was mostly to visit the Akropol and the Museum of ancient Pergamon in one day, then get to Istambul on the next; Mustafa made the arrangements so that we reached our destination in time to see some of the sights of Istambul in the afternoon. We also liked the romantic garden, an oasis under the high walls of the adjacent ap - Very kind people who works there. The owner speaks good english. If you need to go to Izmir, just ask at the reception: they will order you pick-up service for a bus at needed time. Free of charge. Cost for a bus will be same as from the station. Acropolis and other tourist attractions are for walking distances. Also if you are coming by Metro bus - service to Bergama, ask the driver Gobi pension he will let you down just front of the doors . So it is very good location.

  The staff was extremely helpful. Isa went out of his way in helping me purchase my ticket to Istanbul from Bergama and even drove me to the bus station. I'm very thankful for their kindness. On my arrival, they had just finished installing new HD TV in the guest rooms, which has over hundreds of channels that offer shows in all different languages... что говорят » . - Staff very welcoming, offering and helpful.
