  Good place to chill out and relax watching the river boats go by. It is definitely one of the best places to stay at in Bangkok as it is quiet by the riverside and you can relax and chat and drink beer with the other travellers.   The bed was the hardest yet on my 3 month trip in S.E.Asia, but we solved it by putting a the mattress from an extra-bed on top. It was very comfortable. Unlike many other hotels/hostels in the same area, there was air and space - in the outdoor restaurant, the garden and the courtyard for parking. There was a washing machine! Very good.   Sam Sen Sam was a tranquil haven in amongst the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The room was large and spotless, the staff were friendly and helped us find our way around. Great breakfast. The hotel faced the river and we enjoyed sitting at the pool or having breakfast watching life on the river pass by. When we go back to Bangkok we will definitely stay there again.
