we stayed only for the night and didn't have time to try breakfast and explore the hotel. the hotel is in nice old building and lots of artworks and informative frames on the walls. reception was very helpful to us. location is very good, both very close to central station and Malmo historical center.

Location is absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is very good. Found parking space each time I come back to hotel. Friendly staff.

Rooms can be re-decorated to make them a bit more modern, but this is realy a minor thing.

One of the best hotels i've ever stayed in! It is like you live in a castle or museum of that era. Amazing design and decoration, it takes you hundreds of years back and makes you feel like a king in his Palace! Very friendly staff, nice breakfast with variety of options and located in the perfect spot. The restaurant is down in the cellar and that makes it another wonderful feauture of the hotel.

I can't really find any negative point. A detail might be that the house keeping service needs some improvement, but nothing more than that.

Easy walk from the train station. Easy walk to sights and shopping. Old world hotel.

The breakfast has gone down hill slightly. There is not as much selection and the quaint breakfast room is not that quaint anymore.

The atmosphere and historical information about the hotel and people staying there. Nice collage on the wall. The historical surroundings, made us humble to time and housing. Readymade lunch/breakfast, excellent service and products. The variety of ethnic groups in the staff and the care for young people in your staff. The inneryard and the full time service for coffee and drinks. The service of the luggage room. First of all, the service and hospitality of Ull Storm VD/GM, when we referred to our friend Sussie Paddison, who recommended us to stay at Mayfair Hotel Tunneln in Malmø. Ull Storm really was caring and friendly, so his staff also when we asked for transportation in bus to Kirseberg. Really a wonderful start and end for our visit. We will come again.

Charming hotel with plenty of character, rooms with a lot of history, beautifully decorated and with all the comfort of modern rooms. The hotel is also centrally located near all amenities, and offers the possibility of parking at a nearby garage for a fee.

It feels like staying in a nice museum. It has many interesting facts of history surrounding it. The hotel staff is friendly. We also like the free coffee and tea.

The Location of this hotel was brilliant, really close the train station, five minute walk to the main square and approximately ten minute walk to Lilla Torg (a lovely little square with lots of restaurants to choose from). Our room was small but clean & more than adequate. It's a beautiful old building dating back to the 1300's. Breakfast is served buffet style in the cellar vaults which have arched ceilings & incredible character. The breakfast area is called The Beatles Lounge as they once stayed here in the 70's. There is ample choice of food. The staff are very pleasant, welcoming & helpful. The main entrance is quite opulent & greets you with a welcome mat with the day of the week (it is changed daily!).

Staff almost ignoring customers at breakfast. Room too small to welcome all guests, staff too slow to clear the table.

The decor is just beautiful, and it is one of the few we stayed at that had an all day coffee / tea room in an eligant room of its own, just off the lobby. The location is excellent for catching a train (Malmo C is only a 3 minute walk) and it is next to the large square, which is next to the small square so many restaurants and shops right there. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is served in the cellar of this historic hotel dating back to the 1300's. The price was the lowest we paid throughout our stay in Sweden.

A little noisy on the street below during the night, but otherwise a comfortable sleep.

I liked the good service of the hotel and friedly personel. I think that the hotel is guest-oriented as the rooms are very well-equipped and comfortable.

The staff were all very friendly and ran the hotel very well. The breakfast was very good. The historical pictures and captions all around the hotel were very interesting. The hotel was very well located for us.

One or two of the party (not all) found their bed only moderately comfortable.

Excellent hotel in old building in city centre of Malmo, also close to train station. Nice explanations on history of the building, furniture and its former inhabitants. You can hear them in the squeeqy floors! Very nice breakfast room in basement (in the old dungeons). Excellent breakfast, with many choices. Also small courtyard. Some rooms have window to this courtyard, others on the street. But though in the centre, quiet area. Free coffee/thea/water in relaxing room. There is also a restaurant in the basement, which is accesible via the hotel, but not part of the hotel (other owner). Not visited it, but looked really nice. Malmo is a nice city with many parks, so even when in a city, you feel like being on the country side in the parks. Copenhagen is 30-45 min away by train.

This is quite a nice hotel with a lot of character. It is situated very close to the central square and has comfortable and nice rooms, old style..There is a lot of local historical information in the corridoors as well as the lobby. The breakfast is most excellent go and especially the basement restaurant where it is served is fantastic in its design

Location was excellent - really close to the central station and just a couple of blocks from the lovely Lilla Torget square. Breakfast was great, and they started to serve it early even on the weekend which is a great plus! Everything we requested was arranged smoothly, very fast and friendly service.

Quiet rooms. Interesting corridors and walls covered with old and new pictures.

Very charming historic hotel. Our room was tucked away in a corner, which meant there was some walking to get there. But that is part of the charm of an historic building. The halls were decorated with a lot of information about the hotel, which meant each day we found something new to read. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied.

Unfortunately, the cellar was closed for renovation.
