Nice location, it is within walking distance to almost all the tourist spots. The hostel is really quite clean with good designs, which consider a lot the needs of different customers. The place doesnt look very fancy but it is a great place to stay, great kitchen, enough showers/toilets, the room is spacious, the staff very friendly the location couldnt get any better you are right where you wanna be, im sure is the best hostel in stockholm, will go back there for sure, very good place, internet is bad but who goes to stockholm to spend time on facebook anyway.

The tour's (walking city, horror and sauna) that were run by the hostel were great. The free use of internet, free tea and coffee and pasta. Good location and walking distance to everything we needed. - very nice staff, pleasant and friendly place.

I liked the perfect location in the heart of Stockholm. Because some areas are shared a connection, even if brief happens easily, with other guests which is quite nice. Generosity: free coffee, tea and pasta (you cook it yourself). Computer for Internet and cityguidance. You have a fully equipped kitchen you can use. Very easy to come and go since

Location is amazing, in the middle of the Gamla Stan. Nobel Museum and Storakyrkan are both across the street. I spent my first four nights in Stockholm in Sodermalm, paying more for a bed in a four-bed room than I did for a bed in a nine-bed room in Gamla Stan.

Great location with a superb view over one of the cities emblematic features (Gamla Stan). All the other main points of interest are within seconds distance.

We had a private room (two single beds and a sink) which was pretty spacious, and the shared bathrooms/toilets were really clean and not too far away from the room at all. We had a beautiful view of the ship and the water, and the hostel and its surroundings were just stunning. -

price and location. in fact, it is a dormitory - a place where you will only sleep, for an acceptable value of money. it is located in a very good place near the city center. the way from the hotel to the central station took only 20 minutes. metro is nearby. Gamla Stan is in few minutes walking across the bridge. -

Walking distance to city centre/train station but there is a tube station close by as well as bus stops. Easy to find. Close to shops and restaurants. Quiet area, near park. Sufficient breakfast option. Room/bathroom (en suite) size is more than adequate and bed comfortable. Room looked new. Being there in the winter, the room was nice and warm. Many TV channels including programmes in English. Can even buy stamps at the hotel.

I appreciated verything ! I didn't try the shared bathroom but only
the toilets since I slept my two first nights (3 nights in total) in a
double-bed room, but absolutely everything was wonderful :
- comfortable quite big beds with strong woody frames (no noise)
- easy key system with card or magnetic "plastic coin"
- big case for valuable belongi

The kitchen is a very nice addition to the stay at Skanstulls. Since
food is so expensive in Stockholm, the kitchen gives a nice break to buy
food and cook it. There are 2 grocery stores across the street too,
In the hostel is a lot of tourist info which was really nice.
I had a late check in that I forgot to mention and I almost wasn't able to get into the hostel. I caught the staff member at the last minute as she was leaving and she was so kind about my mistake. She was a very helpful girl
