  The locality. It is perfect. It is by Plaza Catalunya-the heart of the city. I never needed to use the taxi. Everything was close by-Plaza Catalunya was a 5 min walk, the metro was a 5 min walk, the bus stop was a 5 step walk, Las Ramblas was a 10 min walk away. The rooms were 4 star quality.   Alberto was most helpful during our stay - metro near at hand for exploring city - not touristy at all but found locals very friendly - plenty of space for two of us. good that we were met at the nearby metro to be taken to the apartment. really close to Camp Nou.
