The owners Rod and Magda are gracious and welcoming. The rooms and the grounds are well maintained and clean and nicely appointed.
The view is beautiful & everyone including Diesel the Lab makes you feel at home and comfortable.
If you have the opportunity enjoy the evening dinner the food is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We stayed in one of the self-catering Bush Cabins and this was exactly what we wanted. Back to basics, with your own ‘braai’, outside kitchen, shower and toilet. Great hillside views, romantic evenings under the moon and stars. Great accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff. Good location to stay for your daytrips and game-drives to Addo Elephant Park.

Lovely views of the ocean from the chalets. Very friendly people all round and hearty meals. Surprisingly good wine selection. Lovely walks through the coastal forest. -
Spectacular view overlooking the ocean. Very clean and well equipped kitchen, the bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and the food was good.

The staff at the Fernery were so friendly and helpful. The attention to detail and care that went into the evening meal (a prepared barbeque) was amazing and we felt really spoiled. I'd highly recommend the Fernery but would suggest a stay longer than we had (only one night unfortunately) as there is so much to experience. It's a bit pricey but

My wife and i stayed in a B&B Chalet for 3 magnificent nights. This place is off the charts with total freedom & tranquility - only wish it would never have ended.
We will return to this beautifull haven in the near future ..........

Great guests, Vanessa and Kerneel put on a great BBQ with fresh meat from their farm. Great food and beautiful setting. The BIG surprise is the beautiful & tranquil stream a short stroll away. Absolutely lovely. Good value for money and a great stay.

On arrival had a great welcome from Anya. Dinner as requested which was tasty chicken pie. Got to see some buffalo out in their reserve which was a nice surprise. Breakfast to die for kept us going for the day. Beautiful home and thanks for making us so welcome. Lovely bottle of bubbly in our room when we arrived again lovely touch. -

Wonderfull place. Everything was great : our host, the pool, the jacuzzi, the beach, the breakfast, etc. Quiet, secure, excellent restaurant in the area. Absolutly nothing to complain about! We loved it! -
Nice building located on the beach with pool and jeccutsi. Long beach with dunes. Direct access from the room to the pool deck.

Very friendly place, fabulous views: we could see the dolphins from our windowroom: just unbelievable! The breakfast (surprise!) was included and absolutely great. -
