Every single member of staff was polite and helpful and you never thought anything was too much trouble. Bathroom was spotless with a hairdryer, soap and shower gel/shampoo and towels all present. Tea, coffee, juices and biscuits were available in the breakfast room the w - Friendly staff - they even prepared breakfast for us at ~ 5 in the morning as we needed to leave early. Very picturesque and in a grand building which is the home of the Polish Writers' Association within P.E.N. The apartment I stayed in was on the top floor and very large and had all you needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. This place is very affordable given its central location, and the excellent views out to the Old Town and castle. There is a slow lift up to the third floor (where the hotel rooms are) if you have luggage, but it's often faster to walk up the stairs.
