  I stayed at two other hotels during my time in Lillehammer, and this hotel was not only the cheapest (even for a deluxe room), but by far the best and offered beautiful scenery, comfortable room, and a helpful staff. The two sleeping areas in the room made it ideal for parents with older children - we were able to have the two TVs on different channels - it kept everyone happy.

The Olympics museum is very close by, although a car or bike is recommended for moving up and down the hills.
