arrival, asking for a room with a window towards the street. They
responded -
Perfect central location. 1 minute from the Parliament, 3 minutes to the Town Hall and harbour. Less than 10 min walk from main train station. Staff very friendly, we even got upgraded from a superior room to a suite. Very clean. Breakfast selection very very good. Free wi-fi included, plus 2 PCs in the lobby connected to a printer, so we managed to check in and print our boarding passes on our last day.

The hotel is situated a mere three minute walk from the central station, which means the location is excellent. This is a minimalistic hotel with the concept "the bare necessities for a lower price" which means that it's perfect if you just need a place to stay for a couple of nights. This is probably my new favorite hotel in the world. So many good things
to say, I'll try to keep it short:
- The staff at the desk was friendly - and so helpful. Their dinner recommendations were right on when we asked for an affordable dinner

An absolutely great hotel. A very good value-clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast, located about 1 mile from the city sightseeing center, free coffee and outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable staff. All of their recommendations for restaurants were excellent. I research all my hotels before a stay and this was right on target. I would highly recommend it to anybody. My wife says it made the trip. I agree!

Large room (a double) with modern Scandinavian furniture. New and stylish bath room. Great view at the food market across the street (note that you might end up looking at the apartment block on the opposite side of the building). Nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs (included in room price) where I also had a very favorably priced (for Oslo standards) meal at night. Probably the best place I've stayed in Oslo. Price-quality ratio is excellent!
