Amazing place there! The dinner in the room is fabulous, and at 8:45 p.m. can see the HANA-BI(fireworks) both in the room and around the lake, there are also Natsu-matsuri in the summer nights. The sunrise and sunset in the Toya lake and Usu mountain is quite impressed. The service of the hotel is far beyond our expectation, with free shuttle from and to the JR Toya Station ,always spirited and friendly. And the hot spring there is also fantastic! Especially love the cave kind. Very awesome . все обзоры »
Lake Toya Hotels are located in front of a very large bay - a scenic area with many boat operators looking for customers.
At 8.45pm, lots of fireworks are lit from the bay which are enjoyed by many folk. Your tariff includes dinner and breakfast - dinner is an authentic Japanese meal and is excellent. If you notify the hotel of your arrival time, they will meet you at the station - the hotel is located about 4-5 miles from the station. They will also shuttle customers back to the station .
The Japanese style room is big and comfortable.Room view overlooking the lake is very beautiful. We came in mid December,it was snowing and the town is white capped.Since its not the peak season, there wasn't many guests, had the whole public bath to myself. The Kaiseki dinner was delicious and sumptuous.Breakfast was also japanese style and tasted well.In all,Toya Kanko hotel was well worth the price and it had been a nice trip for us.
The Hotel location is perfect.Toyako Onsen bus Terminal is just 3-4 Minutes by walk. The Hotel provides free shuttle but they will come to pick up at Train station only if you arrive after 2 p.m.Also,they will leave you at Train station only if you depart by 10.30 a.m......But the staff is very friendly.......The food served in the night was just amazing.......Breakfast was good too.......Lot of Onsen facilities are available.......
The location of the hotel is amazing - in the centre of Toyako onsen, with fantastic views on the Toyako lake - don't miss to book a room with a view on the lake, it's splendid! Staff was very friendly, even though some staff members speak poor English. Very good and plentiful Japanese breakfasts and dinners. Nice onsen in the hotel is an obvious advantage.
The convenience of the free shuttle from/to JR Toya station provided by hotel. Though the hotel looks slightly old, but the cleanliness is in top form. Love the Japanese style room and the fabulous view from room. The Kaiseki dinner served in room was heart-warming.
The hotel has a very excellent lake view and we can see the fireworks inside the room. The lakeside is good for jogging. We appreciate the traditional multi-course dinner and breakfast as well. Also the hotel provides free parking.
I like staff of this hotel. They are very helpful, friendly and nice. The location is very convenient as it close to bus terminal. Most of the room is lake view so we can see fire work from our room.
That's was a lovely stay for me and my husband as we were there for honeymoon! We had a great time there where the hot spring facility is unlimited access along our staying.
The private onsen bath (Japanese-style) was very nice! For first-time users of onsen baths this is a nice introduction.
The fireworks cruise was spectacular!.
Facing lake and can see fireworks fom room. Breakfast included. Comfortable to sleep in futon. Outdoor n indoor onsen are available.
Its the best hotel I have booked for this trip. They can speak English,
their service is nice and caring.
Every room had a lake-side view (could see the evening fireworks show from your room).
Staff was 100% nice. Also free shuttle bus from Toya Jr. Station.
Comfortable Japanese style room with excellent view of the lake.
Lake view is amazing
Very clean
Nice people
Breakfast is good.
酒店有免费接送JR的巴士。两个大浴场很好。设施一般不怎么太干净。但信价比很高.
The good food, fireworks.
Dinner is good!.
- Hot spring bath
- Location, view of lake Toya from hotel room.
- free wifi in room.
Location with lake views.
View of hotel and on-sen.
scenery.
1.Hotel shuttle service is not available round the clock.
The hotel looks slightly old - some renovation would be a good idea (of course saving it's ryokan style!).
Would be better if the wifi coverage was extended throughout the entire room. Signal was only received at the window area.
The facilities are a bit old-fashioned especially the public bath. Unfortunately, free wifi is not provided inside the room.
No WiFi in room.
For westerners, the dinners where you have to sit on the tatami (no chairs) is difficult, especially for the elderly or those with leg or back problems. It will be helpful if these needs could be addressed by having tables with chairs available.
Good to spend one night only as there is nothing much to do. The town is very quiet.
Wifi service only available at the lobby, propose to extend the service
to the rooms.
The dinner was sitting on a tatami mat floor (no dugouts for your legs), so for seniors or people with leg or back problems will find it difficult. It would be in the hotel's best interest to try to accommodate these type of travelers with tables & chairs.
Hotel a bit old but that's not a big deal.
The town is very quiet at night and dining options are limited.
Not used to Japanese Futons & sleeping without bed.
- Room and building are quite old and have stinky smell that make the hotel looks unclean.
A bit scruffy and facilities were plain old minus any type of quaintness. Onsen was quite good.
Staff cannot understand English.
Old building.
everything from food to cleanliness for the price i pay is not worth at all.
