  Beauftiful converted thirteen century Monastery with cloisters etc. Room was wonderful c/w a huge bathroom. Breakfast was set in what would have been the Refectory and was excellent. Set just inside the the city walls and within easy walking distance to everything - Building has great character and the breakfast was excellent (fruit, meats and chee... что говорят » ses, rolls, pastry, drinks made to order). Parking was convenient and worth the 15 euros to not have to hike into the city. We were even able to check in early.

The location next to Il Campo meant we could watch the lottery for the next Paleo on the TV and hear the excitement loud and clear through the window! On the Sunday morning my daughter and I rose at 5.30am to explore the city before it became too busy and we were the only ones on - The Hotel is located in the best location in Siena. The view from our balcany room was incredible. The owner of the hotel is on property and is focused on your comfort and satisfaction. The hotel is an amazing value. There is no lift, but, the owner assisted me both in and out of the property. He made a point to be there at 5:45 AM to assist me on my departure! We love this place. We hope to return to Siena and Albergo Centrale.

The double bedded room was a corner room with great views out of both windows, one of Torre del Mangia. Nice breakfast brought on tray to our room as it was a bit cool for garden breakfast. Would have enjoyed another cup of cappucino, however, but there was no way to obtain one. - Everything. The location is right in the heart of the mountain village. Staff were extremely helpful and spoke fluent English. Breakfast was brought to my room at the specific time I asked for. The room was decorated beautifully and had a very nice view overlooking the city.

We were tired out when we arrived, but it was so easy to relax & enjoy the view of Sienna from the pool. We had no car. Taxis were between 10 - 15 euros to station or town, but the cost was offset by the fact we could bring our own bread, cheese & wine back to enjoy in the evenings. We picked an upstairs room, as it was recommened as quieter ,which work
