The Hotel was excellent. Very well located (15meters from the boat station San Angello). Walking from there was a pleasure, and it is about 10 minute walk from San Marco plazza.

Our room (205) was fantastic, it this was on the recently modernisedside of the hotel and was a superior double. The room was very spacious,and the bed was huge, and comfy. The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt. I enjoy leaving here since it very closed to Accademia varporetto, 10 minutes to San Marco, no worries for meal as you will surrounded with restaurants (a bit expensive for us). The room is big, private bathroom, and refrigerator. The cleaness also good, but for us the floor is a bit dusty.. overall is pleasant living there.

All that really matters is excellent: location, pleasant and competent staff, facilities, cleanliness. Breakfast was very good, but it`s main selling point is the terrace in which it is served - on top of the rooftop above the Grand Cannal with the most magnificent view.
