The family room turned out to have two sleeping areas which gave us a good amount of space. The entrance to the hotel is on the ground floor, as is the elevator.   The hotel exceeded my expectation. It is in a safe location, actually right opposite the Vatican by the entrance side. The other tourist attractions are walkable but if you are not fit like me, public transportation is nearby.
