We loved Andreas. He's the most organized, warm, friendly, patient manager I've met during our 10 day trip to Italy. He would have no problem managing upscale hotels like the Ritz. He responded immediately, from the moment we booked online. He always greets us by name and with a smile. We liked the location because it was away from the hustle/bustle of the city, which is very touristy. We enjoyed interacting with more Italian residents and shop owners on the island. Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip
through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly
renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his
wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly,
telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes
and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo
Spirito was fairly good value for city.

Everything was great.
Very spacious room and a nice welcome with a bottle of champagne (we were travelling on our honeymoon). We enjoyed the view on a small romantic channel with gondolas passing by (there are some rooms with windows overlooking the Grand Canal).
Excellent location, easy to find and get to (next to a water bus stop),and great for sightseeing and shopping (just a short stroll from San Marco with all designer stores on the way).

visiting they were happy to accommodate me with wheat free bread free of
charge. The location was excellent a few minutes from the accadamia
bridge and waterbus. I would certainly stay there again and also
recommend this hotel.

real Venice experience ( unlike the previous boring Venitian hotel where
