  Excellent value for money and close enough to centre to walk; 15/20 minutes. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Parking can be a problem but after the first night we were given a space in the hotel garage round the corner. Best if you have a small car. Our room 414 was spacious enough for 3 nights with a balcony and a very modern bathroom.... что говорят » All very clean. Free Wi-fi which always worked really well. Also found 3 very good reasonably priced local restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Breakfa - It was very nice and confortable, the rooms were modern and had every facility, breakfat was really good. They rent bikes so you can visit the city faster! But anyway, its just a 10 minute walk away from the Duomo, which I think is the main attraction, the hotel is close to a supermarket and different shops, cafes and restaurants, I really enjoyed my stay, the staff is pretty kind and helped me with everything i needed.Totally recommended!

  The owners Nadine and Giovanni were so helpful with everything from adapter plugs to bookings for all the local attractions. We arrived very late at night and had difficulty getting a taxi and when i phoed the hotel to explain we were going to be delayed they came and picked us up. A very pleasant experience all round.   Very good location – in a walking distance to the center and piazza Michelangelo. Friendly staff. Not bad breakfast. - it was cheap, clean and very helpfull staff - Good location, calm environment, friendly Front office staff. Good for short stay and not-too-heavy-luggage travellers ;-)

But as far as I understood 2-star hotels in Florence are not that far from 4-star hotels in other cities. Besides the price was very moderate in comparison with hotels in other famous cities. Near the hotel some shops (for it was better than empty trip to outlet near Florence), trattorias, and Coop supermarket.

Breakfast is definitely worth the money for 5 euros per person. Laundromat and mini supermarket on same street. Good strong wifi.
