The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very quiet (on the inner courtyard). The location can't be beat.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and all requests were dealt with efficiently and with a smile. That included phoning a restaurant for me to confirm reservations that I had made through a website. The location of the hotel was ideal for us. In the beautiful neighbourhood of St Germain des Pres on the left bank. The Hotel is located on Rue des Cannettes, one of the three streets that make up the "triangle of thirst". A name they received because of the lively bars and quality bistrots on the streets. These streets have a lively and yet safe buzz about them at night. Within five minutes walk you have the Cafes and nightlife of Boulevard Saint Germain, Rue de Buci and Rue de Seine. Within ten minutes walk there is the lively nightlife of the Latin quarter. Loads of eating and drinking options to choose from. Many of the sights are within easy walking distance.. Saint Sulpice 2mins, Luxembourg Gardens 5mins, Notre Dame and the Ile de la Cite, The Louvre and Musee D'Orsay 15mins walk. The location is also well served by the Metro stations of Saint Germain Des Pres and Mabillion only 3 minute walk away. The room was a superior double which was clean, well presented and comfortable. We had room 22 facing the courtyard which was quiet and removed from the lively street to the front of the hotel. The rooms are smaller than what we would be used to, but I believe that is typical of Paris. The Bathroom was clean, and well equipped with a bath and a shower. There is free Wi-Fi through out the hotel which was good.
There was no iron in the room. They do offer a laundry service but it cost 10 euro to have a shirt pressed. (that's not dry cleaned, that's just pressed)
All in all a great hotel. The best thing has gone the location, right in the middle if the old town and walking distance to most attractions. Staff were also very helpful.
Compact room but unless you're going to spend mega bucks it's what you have to put up with in Paris.

There wasn't any hair conditioner. You had to hold the "on" button on the hair dryer for it to stay on at a very difficult angle...made it VERY hard to blow dry hair. Internet was not consistent and hard to use.
Location fantastic. Common areas comfortable with bar, breakfast areas inviting with fireplace for cool and enclosed garden for warm times. Room lavishly decorated in a modern French style and very clean.Kudos to front desk personnel, Teddy, who was very helpful in a professional but warm way. He knew the area well..directing us to a jazz club, movie houses, restaurants,etc
This hotel satisfied our needs and wants perfectly. We have no complaints. We will recommend La Perle to friends and will definitely rebook if we are lucky enough to return to Paris.

In the future I would request a garden room. The nightclubs on the street close at near dawn. Noisy all nite cannot leave windows open at all.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Fabulous location surrounded by shops and restaurants. Little streets, packed full of interesting places. 5 minute walk from St Germaine Blvd and the hop on hop off bus. Staff were lovely and our room surprisingly big for a Paris hotel room

This hotel is in a great position set amongst some great little French restaurants and an easy walk to most sights in Paris.If not walking the metro is just around the corner. Very comfortable beds.

The location is excellent. Walking distance to many highlights and the subway is just two blocks away. Also, the water pressure is excellent!

All the staff were friendly and the consierge were exemely helpful. Our room was beautiful and very clean we could not fault this hotel. the position of the hotel is perfect.

We asked the Receptionist to call us a taxi the airport, she inplace of using a meter taxi called a commission kick back company that works with no meter and ofcourse they tried to overcharge us ! Not cool at all and rather short sighted from the receptionist.
We had a pleasant, quiet room. Not large but large enough. The atmosphere was welcoming, breakfast was good and the staff were invariably nice.

Our location (streetside) was very noisy in the evening from the nearby bars/bistros unless we closed our windows and relied upon air conditioning.
Lovely Paris hotel in a great location - St Germain des Pres - central to all the activities and sights we wanted to experience in Paris. The hotel staff was friendly and professional and English-speaking - such a relief because my French is deplorable.
The "bar" at the hotel was hardly only open for a short time each day. Every time we tried to visit it, it was closed. Also, our room was above the bar, so when it was open, it was noisy.
Great location , surrounding neighborhood was awesome , lined with great cafes and shopping. Can walk to the Louvre. Easy to catch a cab to farther locations. Hotel staff was fantastic , very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and very affordable .
The rooms are small which is fine for a short stay - we were only there for 2 nights- not sure if I would have liked an entire week in our room.

Excellent location, near to Quartier Latin, Notre Dame, St. Germain, Metrostation etc... Also very quiet location, though in the heart of Paris, especially rooms to the backyard. Towards street also quiet. Comfortable beds. Interesting shops, cafés and restaurants around. We had an excellent stay!
no coffee/tea making facilities. When taking a shower, the whole bath is flooded. No parking possibility (not even for dropping off luggage). Pricy carpark nearby. Note: in August parking is free alongside the streets on marked areas!

The location in the heart of St Germaine, close to the Seine River, The Louvre and other major attractions. They are all in walking distance. Mostly the beautiful Lydia who could not do enough for her guests.

This hotel has everything you could ask for. AC, lift, pleasant-feeling absorbent towels and properly sized decent quality linens, tub, good water pressure and nice hot water, individual character, no sense of cheapness about any of the materials in the decor, and stellar, friendly service, outstanding location. It's the Platonic ideal of a three-star -- the sort of hotel that makes it feel honestly baffling that anyone would pay for a five-star. I'm almost slightly reluctant to recommend it because I'm afraid I might not be able to get a booking as easily if the secret gets out.
