  Very friendly, accommodating owners. No problem to collect us from the station when we arrived 6.00pm. Basic room but the bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Convenient to have the bar restaurant attached if you're there without a car as we were - with a eu12.50 Menu all day.   The hotel is within walking distance of the town, walking along the canal and over a bridge. You do not need to drive. It was peaceful, but it was winter. The room was clean and comfortable. A super market was also within walking distance with an attached petrol station. The Breakfast was basic and a little expensive @ €7 each, but the bread was... что говорят » fresh and plenty of coffee. - The Gites were beautifully designed with decks and a water feature: a japanese inspired water lily pond with bridge going over - reflection of the canal on which this hotel is situated. Marie Lise at reception was incredbily helpful and professional. The chef at the restaurant is incredible, some of the best food that I have had in France.
