Cordes is a magical place, and this hotel is located at the heart of it. We were treated very well by the staff there. The owner was very helpful and a nice person to meet. The view is superb. It is the tallest point in town. And the room we had had its charm. -

Warm, friendly welcome. Comfortable, adequate facilities. Great location from which to tour the regions of the Midi Pyrenees. Very good restaurant at the accommodation and others also nearby. Steeped in history. Good local shopping.

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived. We were given a map of Cordes Sur Ciel in English on arrival and a tourist map of the area. The restaurant next door was closed on the Sunday night but the hotel rang a nearby pizzeria to see if it was open. We ate in the restaurant next door on the first night and that was super. -

Once you find the hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful. There is parking, however you need to be reasonably fit for the trip to and from. You can load/unload luggage at the door. The restaurant is excellent, even if the young waiter a touch arrogant. -

The rooms are ample, clean, well-decorated and very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and well maintained and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. -

Ideally placed for sight seeing Albi etc. Terrific hosts who have made their home very welcoming. They were very helpful and we had a wonderful evening with them, enjoying a meal cooked by our hosts. La Maison au Puits is beautifully and stylishly decorated. Canit recommend the accommodation enough. -

Aurifat is in a wonderfully quiet location with just a short, but stiff, 10 to 15 minutes walk up to Cordes sur Ciel. The property is a beautifully restored farmhouse, with lovely views to the south.
