We just needed a quiet place where we could cook food, and rest between shopping and sightseeing, without carpets on the floor. Since we both have to avoid certain foods, the cooking and opportunity to keep food cold was essential. It was very cheap compared to other self-catering options, and the windows effectively shut out noise from the streets. There wasn't an endless party going on as in some hostels.

It's a nice and very quiet hotel in the centre of Helsinki. Great for anyone who wants to live right in the centre and very close to all the shops, restaurants and the Central Train Station etc. Not a luxury place but certainly does what it says on the tin. Very contemporary design. You get into the hotel with a door code which you also use for your room and the lifts.

The hotel position is great just few blocks away from central station.
Staff was kind and room clean, comfortable and soundproof, though the hotel is located directly on the street and just above the pub.
After check out they were also so kink to keep our (cabin size) luggage for the morning.

Right next to the main train station/metro and facing an open bus staion - yet without any of that sleaziness that infects European train/bus stations.
Finns are just too nice to be sleazy and are also darn good-looking!!! They have to be the handsomest race I have ever or will ever see.

Good recommendations where to go and what to visit you can easily find in the room's guide. I stay in this hotel several times during some year. Good place for budget city trip. Near hotel location is small park. In the park we sow squrells and rabbits. Bus and tram staition, kioski, two supermarket, some coffe - all facilites on this place. Free internet is on reception, but only for one point.
