The hotels was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room was a great value for the money. The location is not convenient to public transportation, but it is quiet at night and there are good restaurants nearby.

The shower did not seem to have a temperature between scalding and freezing. The plumbing definitely needs an update.This was the only problem with our stay.

The hotel decor is totally different to anything we had previously experienced. The reception staff were extremely helpful.

The location is fantastic - close to the castle and 10 min walking from Charles Bridge. The tram 22 station to the centre is close enough. The hotel is very quite as well as all the area around in the evening. Plenty of nice small restaurants in Nerudova.

The breakfast - good enough for Italian breakfast standards, but a little poor as continental.

Characterful hotel, lovely room on top floor with stained glass windows. Friendly staff - very helpful when I made a mess of booking airport transfers! Location handy for castle area, some good restaurants nearby and quiet at night. nd

Quite a long way from tram stops, especially if hauling luggage. (Tip: take the 22 tram to Pohorelec stop- it's level and downhill from there!) Breakfast OK but a bit limited: choice diminished over the 4 days we were there.

Beautiful old building in the historic Malestranske area, up a lovely cobbled street with many great local cafes and restaurants. Great location for the castle. Room was large and very comfortable - sofa, armchairs - and wonderfully decorated with stained glass windows.

Great location friendly staff. They even sent us an email before we arrived asking us if we wanted an airport pickup and we booked this with them before we got there

Our room was delightful, having a beautiful decorated ceiling and stained glass windows. The room was large and the bathroom was separate. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the front of house staff spoke good English. WiFi was free but was inconsistent during our stay. The staff was very apologetic about this so this was unusual. Although the hotel was up the hill under the walls of the castle, most tour companies would offer a pick up service.

Breakfast had limited choices and the dining room was very small.

Hotel U Krale Karla was excellent. We loved the space and comfort of the King Suite. Comfortable beds, gorgeous decor, especially the stain glass windows and the painted ceiling. Good location. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, breakfast was good.

I really can't think of any fault at all!

Wonderful staff and area, very good breakfast. Clean, very big room and comfortable bed.

Not enough space for parking, but it is understandable so close to Prague castle.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Not being located in the centre of the old town it's pretty quiet at night, so we never got our sleep disturbed. It was still close enough to the centre that it only took about 10 minutes to go to the Charles bridge. The internet worked fine throughout our stay, even in our room on the third floor.

The breakfast was sufficient, but it has room for improvement.

Location....near castle...but be aware that you would want a taxi to get there at first with suitcase...it is at TOP of very big and long hill...after that....no worries... I liked the room..it was very romantic and you felt like you were really in Prague!

The breakfast is very average. Some of the staff was really nice, but then again, one of the staff, a woman, at the front desk in the morning acted very condescending and unfriendly. For the amount of money I was spending, I was quite surprised. The other staff, in the evenings (and in the breakfast room) were more than helpful and nice.)...Also...the bed was a bit soft...new mattresses would be good.

Beds were too short and uncomfortable. Breakfast choices were limited and those available were poorly executed. Wifi signal was only available in one corner of the room. Overall worth it only at a sgnificantly reduced last minute rate.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located in the historical center close to Knyazhev city but at the same time in a quiet place. The hotel has a nice design. We had a comfortable room. There were a friendly staff, excellent service and good breakfast.

Very helpful and friendly staff. A lovely warm and cosy atmosphere to return to after a long day exploring Prague in the snow. Room much bigger than expected with great decor and comfort . Great choice of food for breakfast

A kettle in the the room would have been nice although hot water was readily available at reception

Great location, Quiet, Great street with shopping and restaurants, huge 2 room sweet, comfy bed, great breakfast, nice staff, clean. very close to st charles bridge, is up a hill so you will walk a lot. 5 min walk to bridge, 15 min walk to downtown and clock, Great place stay here !!! strongly recommend near castle also, almost free to stay here ! Super place !!! amazing

Beautiful room

Very bad, poor breakfast.The airconditioning is not in every room available. We had first a room without an airco and the room was unbearable warm during the day. After a room transfer we had got an airco, but so loud, that you cannot sleep with it on. We had to open the window, but from 7 am terraces are build up, so you cannot sleep well.

No A/C, no fan. Quite expensive parking fee.
