We love what Douglas Fir has to offer our two Granddaughters in terms of facilities(the pool, hot tub and play park).
We had a one bedroom chalet which was perfect for us and Douglas Fir provided a playpen and highchair, which meant we did not have to pack them in the car.

The Waterslides and Indoor Playground were BIG hits with the kids!! The fireplace and free wood were most welcome. The surprisingly convenient and well-stocked store on site was also a welcome convenience. The full kitchen and nearby parking were very handy. The location is far enough from town that it is quiet at night, but a close bus ride, short drive, or half hour walk away from the Resort.

Cheaper even than a few bed and breakfasts that I looked at. Melissa's (?) next door was a great location for breakfast (also good prices and staff). Great that parking is available. I would stay again for sure.
