  The hotel is very clean with ceramic floors and has no mold which is a plus for someone that suffers from severe allergies like I do.   We liked the fact that we could walk out the gate and see the historic center of Olinda. It was so convenient. The staff were very good and several of them were able to give us good information in English. We were so busy that we did not have time to take advantage of the pool except to enjoy seeing it from the restaurant. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, good linens and towels, and a great view of Boa Viagem beach.   I stood there participating in an Convention in the very near Exhibition Center. Being picked up at the Airport, I had immediately a guided tour by the very friendly Taxi driver - great. Good location within walking distance of many nice restaurants and artisan shops. Nice swimming pool and grounds. An oasis in the middle of Olinda/Recife. As a bonus, on Sunday nights there is an open air "market" with many interesting food choices and the usual tourist fare.
