Separate bedroom and living room (can shut the door between them). Nice big bed (bigger than a US king). Very clean. Nice location (not far from the center). Room service was affordable by US stds (expensive by La Paz stds). Good internet strength. Nice balcony in some rooms. Good breakfast served until 10:30am and included in room rate. N

I have stayed there twice and am always so impressed with the staff. They seem to know everything about La Paz. We asked where the nearest lavanderia was and they plotted it on a map. When we discovered it was closed, they instantly plotted two more for us. They also speak excellent English.
Restaurant has a solid buffet and good hours.

Almost perfect familiar guesthouse. Very personal treatment form staff. Good breakfast. It has traditional tecnologies for protection from cold and noise. Very clean. Good bed, good shower. Overall this place was clean, super comfortable, the staff was awesome and helpful. Since it is in the middle of everything and has tons of facilities right in the building, you cannot go wrong. It is simple, but has everything you need. I would stay here anytime.

We stayed 3 nights. On arrival, we felt tired after a big day of travel, so dined in the restaurant at the hotel. Meal was great. The staff at the hotel spoke English and were very helpful. We were having difficulty with online bookings for entrance into Machu Picchu and the tourist desk helped. Arranged taxi to airport. Room clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

The staff are so friendly at the Pan American. They really make you feel welcome. I only ever stay in value for money hotels, no point paying too much when you are off visitng a place, so wasn´t expecting the ritz anyway! Would recommend a stay! -

This is a great hotel with excellent location right next to the San Francisco Cathedral and great shopping streets.
Renovation kept the main spirit of the old building and they are done perfectly. The hotel has an excellent restaurant as an adjusted service where food is also good and reasonable priced -

I was not expecting much from the hotel, but it turned out to be ok. The old hot water problem partly fixed, the wi-fi problems fixed, the cold room problem fixed by the independent heater than you can take on the reception; 'Witch market' location, quite central; not so many guests in the hotel, so the reception changed a double room to a twin on

trek. The location was good and in the same place as most of the other
hostels and hotels. The internet was fine, if not better than most
places I've stayed in Bolivia.
