  We like the idea that Walhalla is rich in history, gold mining, original buildings and the town is keeping these old traditions alive. The train ride is excellent and I will look forward to taking a tour on the ghost walk. The Star Hotel is beautiful and keeps with the historical nature of the town. Peter enjoyed talking to Michael, it is great that you have the - The quietness was awaresome.The location escpecially Aug - Sept has been worth the trip. For aussie history buffs it was good and informative. The townspeople are friendly and full of information. The local cuisine is good. Generally it was worth the visit and we will go again and stay a bit longer next visit and take others back with us.Directions into Walhalla were marginally good, particularly from Moe.Roads into town are good. Thank you Walhalla.We will be back.
