We have been going to Abbey for about 20 yrs. love convenience of having everything on site. We were thinking the units were looking tired and for a resort could never work out why beds were standard doubles. However for the first time we had an upgrade and were delighted. We have been very loyal to Abbey and again love the location and service has been over all these years and staff changes, very good.

We liked the convenient position, the relaxed atmosphere and the overall amenities. Three of us stayed, my wife, myself and my sister-in-law. We loved the cottages, they are very clean, modern, well designed and equipped, with really comfy beds and generous sized pillows. The price and ease of booking on line procedure, the location, the presentation of the property, the quietness of the cottage when every cabin was booked all weekend, the bush walks and the birds, the greeting including a continental b/fast and complementary bottle of wine. The information folder was most useful and the discounts offered for mentioning Bushland Cottages at various places.

The staff were delightful, right from check-in to final check-out.
The room was superb, well appointed and exceptionally comfortable and clean.
The restaurant would be among the best at which we have ever eaten, with the sensibly brief menu and wine list superbly backed-up by very polite and attentive staff.
Overall, our eight day stay would have to be one of the best hotel stays we have ever experienced and enjoyed.

We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at Cottage no.7, which is a 3 bedroom superior cottage. Vinnie is great with the kids, my elder son whom is 3 years old loves him. As with Sydneyresident, we experienced the power failure which affected the whole town and a few towns over. Vinnie brought around the portable generator so that we could have a quick shower and head out for activites. There's plenty to do around the area and all within 30min -90mins drive.

Everything at the Amalfi Resort was excellent. Our villa was spotless and comfortable. We were late arrivals and our air conditioning had been turned on for us, vouchers for free Wi-Fi were on the table and a welcome pack for us to read. The lady who saw us in about 8pm was ever so friendly! Loved her warm welcome! Absolutely gorgeous :) The room we had was beautiful as well, everything we needed was there! A handy booklet was also provided for us which informed us of local sights! Was great! Can express how happy I was to stay here! Will definitely be back! -

From the road it does not look great but it is a hidden gem-Older style. Comfy beds, large TV and DVD. There is only a microwave in our room but it had all cutlery and dishes to reheat meals for a family. Large clean swimming pool. A great relaxing stay. Would stay there again. -
