  It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. The hotel has 12 rooms, they're very spacious, comfortable and clean, breakfast was lovely. The Ilum is one of the nicest places we have stayed and we have travelled extensively.   This small boutique hotel is beautiful inside (and discretely unassuming from the street). The rooms are spacious and well-lighted, with beautiful hardwood floors and patios. The upstairs terrace is lovely place to relax with a glass of wine. The complementary breakfast was excellent. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, gracious, patient, h... что говорят » elpful. They happily reserved dinner reservations and made arrangements for us to see a tango show and much more. The main metro line is a few blocks - Very helpful, friendly staff. They arranged to have us met at the airport after our long flight. They recommended a nearby excellent restaurant - La Choza - for our evening meal. Magnolia is a charming, small property with more ambience than a large, chain hotel. Very clean rooms. Great breakfast provided as well.

  The desk staff were the best- very friendly, knowledgeable, excellent English language, and willing to help out (especially Roberto, Carlos and Raquel). The rooms were stylishly appointed- small, but efficient and comfortable. The outdoor courtyard was pleasant and landscaped well. Good location (Palermo - safe area), excellent staff and really nice rooms. We arrived at 7 am after a very long flight and got our rooms 8 hours before normal check-in time. They arrange transfer to/from airport for a decent rate, give nice tips for tango and sightseeing. Very friendly staff! Breakfast was also good.

  The staff were outstanding.They operated as a really good team, nothing was too much trouble and they were a great sight for a weary traveller as I got there after a long flight.My not speaking Spanish was not a problem as they all spoke and understood English very well.They seemed to enjoy the challenge.   I’m very glad that we choose to stay at the Sileo Hotel for the week we spent in Buenos Aires. The hotel itself is a little gem located in Recoleta, the nicest part of Buenos Aires.
