Everyone we were encountered wanted to be helpful and it showed by going
over and above. The checkin person I believe was Mel not only told us

I like the location on Shutter Island with the feeling to come back "home" at night after a day spent around in San Diego.
Incredible remote view of San Diego downtown.
Very spacious room overlooking the marina, which is definitely better than the ones on the bay as there is the parking in between the hotel and the sea.
A lot of very good restaurants nearby in Point Loma: no need to travel far away from the hotel.

This is one of the best place's I have ever stayed at. The people were very friendly and nice, the breakfast was outstanding.
The rooms were clean, with microwave, refrig, and coffee pot in every room. This will be the place I will be staying from now on, as I have to come to San Diego, at least every 5 weeks.

We had a one night stopover and chose this hotel as it was close to the airport. As I habitually have a cup of tea on arrival at any hotel, I really appreciated the all day tea/coffee /hot chocolate provided free of charge in the lobby. There are also afternoon cookies and morning muffins, very nice touch.

always ready to help with suggestions for dining and fun things to do.
Enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi and the rooms were very comfortable
with flat screen TVs, microwaves and refrig. Nice location - Point Loma,
a bit away from the super busy areas of San Diego. The breakfast was
better than usual as it had a protein choice (eggs) and waffles which

Very clean and well maintained room and hotel grounds. Loved free WiFi
and Internet access. Loved free parking, free bicycle loaners, two
pools/saunas. Playground across the street. Lots of markets, coffee
shops and misc. Stores nearby, very convenient. The staff was 100%
awesome! The views spectacular and the surrounding area felt very safe.

Great location for sea world visit.
There was a problem at our initial check in which wasn't good. However I have to say that the manageress stepped in and resolved the matter with a real customer focus in trying to ensure we had a good stay. For me this is when a hotels reputation stands or falls in how they go about resolving problems. Staff were a credit to the company and I would def recommend to others

Love that this is not just a "pets accepted" hotel. They genuinely enjoy and are friendly to the animals and the owners. My dogs loved having a vacation with Mom and Dad. We were within steps of the beach. Sitting on the balcony day or night with a beautiful view of the ocean, dog beach, the jetty. We didn't have a dog, but the hotel was very dog friendly with dog washing facilities at end of building. I also liked the fact that we had a big refrigerator & microwave. The pool was also wonderful.

Anup, Lisa, and rest of the desk staff was very attentive to our needs. They were very helpful in giving directions for transportation. Lisa booked our reservations, all was as we asked. wifi were a huge plus!! Other hotels wanted $45 per day for parking and

My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate our anniversary and just had
a beautiful time at The Pearl. The staff was amazing, friendly and
helpful. The food at eat was just to die for as well as their drinks. We
absolutely loved our room and the decor in it. Everything was just

I'm from Australia and i was staying at another hotel near Beverly Hills and payed a fortune to stay there with no breakfast/horrible service. When we came to this hotel to come to SeaWorld the lady at the front desk was very lovely and told us all the popular places to eat and things to see near the hotel and pointed out discounts and sightseeing
