We liked the exquisite lobby, the front and back porches, the grounds,the view, the lake, the secluded location, the ambiance, the pine motif, the cozy seating in front of the fireplace. Staff was friendly location was perfect everything we wanted to do was
no more than 10 minutes away. Facilities for children were nice and we
would bring them there with us next visit. -

The staff was extremely helpful. The room I was originally supposed to stay in was not ready and they automatically upgraded us to a better room extremely quickly, neither was inexpensive but I did appreciate it. Everything is only a phone call away. -

Setting, room, the palace, people, amenities available. Haunted house and cast were very good. Food and the food service team were very good. Dinner did take a little long to be served though.

we enjoyed most everything from fishing ,spa,pool,bar with live entertainment ect..and the staff was excellent like they would jump through hoop to make you happy or to accommodate your needs top notch.we will be going back.we could stay any where being members of encore properties and resort this place is the best. -

I was there for business nearby, but realy like to get back for some vacation! -
The place had a lot character being an older building. We stayed in the unrenovated part of the hotel but it was still nice. Nothing to necessarily write home about but nice. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very nice. Overall a pleasant stay.

In a lovely setting and a great stop off on the way to Niagara from DC. The hotel was very quiet when we stayed so not sure if this is a good representation but the room was fine, clean and comfortable. Very quiet too. The restaurant is good and both dinner and breakfast were lovely.
