  Excellent location next to a great park and within 5 mins walk of Lake Michigan. Transport into city super easy from right outside the hotel or you can walk into the city within half hour. Excellent customer service from the staff. Roof top bar/restaurant has amazing views. The hotel has a very cool retro feel and the decor is great. The restaurant was good - pricey, but you can grab a bite at the bar. The bartendar provided excellent service.

  From the first moment we entered the staff was friendly and helpfull. The location is exellent, 8min walk to the L. Clark street which is full of pubs and restaurans just 2min. 2 cinema's are in walking distance. The hostel is great, whether if you're in a dorm or private room. We were in a half/half. Sink and toilet, shower on the floor. The room... o que as pessoas dizem » was cosy and sufficient. Breakfast was decent. Bagels, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, creamcheese, P&J. It was always warm and homey. Free dinner on sun - At check-in the staff was extremely helpful and, when no parking spots were available, they showed where to find free parking and then another ramp to park as well. The events hosted by the hostel were outstanding as well, the pub crawl, evening grill out, and the Hawks parade viewing of course. Overall, this hostel is straightforward and simple, no tricks, in a fun and happening Lincoln Park neighborhood, and I know this is my new go to place to stay when I return to Chicago for future trips.

  The staff was extremely kind when our taxi didn't show up to take us to Union Station. So we missed the train. A staff member stood in the rain with us while we tried to get another cab. We couldn't get a cab, but they let us continue to use our room for the day. This out- weighs any of the negative comments we wrote. Anna and Barbara did an excellent job of cleaning and restocking my room 317 when I stayed there earlier this week. They both deserve raises.
