The Hotel is placed very convineantly, close to the train station, on the river front and on the door step of the York Dungeons and York centre. Beautiful, traditional room with lovely big bed, lovely view of the river from the room. Very warm welcoming staff, friendly and very willing to help. My stay at the Waterfront was fantastic, excellent value for money. I was right in the heart of the city. The room was very accommodating and the staff were very helpful. I even had dinner in the Waterfront restaurant, which I would highly recommend to anyone that stays over!!. todos opiniões »
A friendly welcome from the owner and ease of getting to the room. The room was very comfortable with a lovely en-suite and I will definitely stay here again. great location had a steak in the restaurant the best steak iv ever tasted would stay here just for the food its that good. The Waterfront is an excellent hotel, with a warm, cosy atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. The location is perfect. the hotel manager was very helpful with parking arrangements. the bed was comfortable and the rom adeqaute for our needs. Furnishings in room and beautiful view from our window over the River Ouse. gret locaton fantastic eveing meal wouldstay here again. Bed. Central location and riverside view. Room was clean and tidy. A arrived late and the owner styed around to let me in. lovely river aspect, very close to everywhere. Friendly staff, good location. excellent friendly staff central location comfortable room. near town centre. nearly nothing, the place was dirty and generally in horrible conditions. No value for the money spent. I felt uncomfortable throughout the stay. No television and no internet. No staff around to help you.Central for the shopping, nice view onto water. The stairs to rooms are lethal,so dangerous. It was a cold night and the room windows were not double glazed. The TV was difficult to operate. No soap provided for shower. bit noisy - late night revellers. Very, very noisy with loud music coming from the bar/restaurant below most of the night (floor shakingly loud) so I got no sleep, also there was no hot water and the kettle didn't work. Wouldn't stay there again. mattresses were pretty worn in and loose toilet seat, bathroom floor dirty and damp on walls. poor service, poor attention to detail and repairs required, no extras eg hairdryer. Room not secure. The hotel is the poorest, in terms of service and maintenance, I have ever seen. I have paid 40£ and the reality is that I shouldn't have wasted even 5£. Disgusting. No breakfast, althought stated on internet if pay extra 12.95 perperson, room was very basic, no tea or milk pots provided onlycappuchino sachets, curtains were hanging off, had to get on the floorand find a plug socket to plug the kettle in, very cold, shower wasntvery good, could not lay in bed and watch the tv, as you couldnt see itbecause the end of the bed was in the way, had to sit up,.
