Small details that make the difference. It is just perfect.room, staff etc excellent. Very comfortable bed. Very good shower and clean bathroom. Room quiet even though the hotel is located close to busy roads.Superb value for money and very nice staff. Room conditions and bathroom. We were very impressed by the overall standard and thought the breakfast was excellent value too. comfortable beds, friendly staff, quiet. On my booking i stated that i wanted non smoking rooms, which i was not happy about!. fixtures and furnishings were of good quality. The room was very clean and well equipped. The convenience to the motorways. The comfy bed. Was well situated for appointment next day.Easy parking, large rooms, nice bathroom. jsut next to the fast food restaurants. Large comfortable room with sofa. good selection of T V channels. easy to get to ,good parking. good location for journey. Got the basics right. ok. Very good clean bathroom; spacious room. Very easy to locate. I like the convienience. Coffee and tea in the room, clean and large bathroom.nice size bathroom. close to the job I was completing on the service station. breakfast overpriced, considering no pot of coffee or tea. I think four teabags would be desirable (two on arrival, two in the morning).I would add only one comment. The room was very good and iam happy to stay there. However, the room heater wasn't rooming. I faced the same problem when i stayed there last time 2 months ago. I would appreciate if the heater can be switched on when the guest opens the room. It is also advisable if there is a booklet that mentions about the procedure to use the system. I think you should have a price list for short stays, say people who want to use your rooms for a few hours, say 2-4hrs in a day,. The entrance signs are a bit confusing and we missed the reception on both visits to Days Inn's during our trip. As we stayed in a family rooms, they was no tea or coffee for 3 people.very noisy all night long, largely because of traffic at the services. It would have been nice had the coffee provisions been restocked. I rang to confirm the booking and was a little concerned as they did not appear to have a booking in my name, it turned out my booking was made as a surname Olive and first name Kerr instead of surname Kerr and first name Olive. A bit worrying a day before you travel. Traffic leaving Oxford Services was noisey at times.Poor instructions on how to get there, I spent 1.5 hours tryingto find it!. the sofa is not clean enough. Only one, thin pillow on bed.
Room smelt of oil or solvent - I woke up with stinging eyes. the room smelt damp as if not used for a while. only small selection of shops and eating. Was told that breakfast was an extra by both nightime and daytime staff althought it was included. Was not charged however when I showed booking. Someone had obviously smoked in our room although it was non smoking . Can't blame the hotel for that but would have been nice if the room had been aired. rooms were stuffy. 10 minute wait at reception on arrival. Noisy environment. Beduncomfortable.I would not recommend staying there for more than one night. Initially, being attached to the services seemed like a bonus, but soon I startedfeeling like Tom Hanks in "Terminal". The mway service food is reallyexpensive, and the food is actually really grotty. Also the wifi accesswas _expensive_. Make a point of looking for places with free wireless. The lady at the reception was quiet slow...when we asked for a few items she was unable to give because thisngs had been washed or put away... if some one is paying £80 to stay one night i think tey should have enough right to a bowl and spoon. The curtains in the room always seem to fall off when you close them and dont fit properly anyway ie lets light in. Some hassle at check-in, though finally our papers were found. Noisy people upstairs having a party.receptions knowledge. The room smelt funny, upon entering it. Had to have the window open.My room smelt strongly of damp. no where to get a drink (beer or wine) not even from a vending machine i.e. No bar. the room was too small.
