Steeped in Cornish history and dating back to 1340, this charming B&B is set in mature gardens. Located on the edge of Washaway, it offers luxurious accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking. En suite rooms at Park Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast feature king-size beds and include a HDTV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. A traditional breakfast is served daily with vegetarian, gluten-free and other dietary options available. You can also enjoy an evening meal in the traditional restaurant with log fire, high ceilings and exposed wooden beams. Padstow is 7 miles away and it is 12 miles to the south coast.

We booked two rooms for ourselves and my Inlaws for four nights. We were welcomed on arrival by Phil who immediately made us welcome with tea/coffee and go,e-made cake, while Helen got our rooms keys. We were then shown to our rooms which were well furnished, immaculately clean with kingsize beds. We arrived late afternoon, so we asked if they could recommend anywhere to eat, Phil recommended a local pub which served great food and gave us directions. The breakfast each morning was freshly cook.

Our hostess Helen is an ex-chef and the meal was sensational as was breakfast the next morning. the room was a good size as was bathroom with all facilities. Our host Phil is a bit different but loves to engage in a philosophical chat. Helen is warm and friendly. the surrounds are very quiet and we would certainly go back there, and would expect our hosts to be very welcoming again.. We were given good advice for our onward journey.Prospective clients really shoul. From the moment we arrived Phil and Helen made us so welcome. We stayed for 4 nights and will go back again. Breakfast was great and our room was very comfortable and clean. Nothing was too much trouble. All the extra touches they provide made our stay special. Every day we would come back to home made cake, jug of fresh milk and a bottle of cold spring water for drinking or making tea. They were so friendly and informative on where to eat and places to visit. Great location and Farmhouse full . We had difficulty with our Sat Nav and Philip came to find us and we hadn't even arrived! The service, food, room was exceptional. Helen and Philip were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The breakfast was wonderful, we had one evening meal which was just delicious. The rooms were beautifully furnished with lovely comfortable beds, we slept really well. I went with my mum who was over from the USA and we had such a great time, I can't wait to take my husband. The owners were very friendly.Phill was very knowledgeable about the local area regarding places to eat and places to park to avoid paying in the local areas of interest. Excellent breakfast each morning and lovely cakes/brownies with coffe upon arrival. Felt initially that the B+B was in the middle of nowhere but actually was very well placed for either trips to beach or into the countryside for North and South Cornwall. Helen & Phil were very friendly owners, very obliging to help. great place to stay if you like peace & quiet. wonderful meal served on our last night there, loved all the trimmings, enjoyed our talks and company. great breakfasts served during our stay there. would definately stay again if we return to Cornwall. our room provided us with a great view over the garden. local pub good meals too. Relaxing and in the Cornish countryside......good sized room and excellent ensuite...plenty of towels, cold water at night, great welcome from owners, excellent breakfast and as such home made foods as possible..assistance with places of interest....Toiletries supplied and tea and coffee making facilities as well as wifi and plenty of parking. Great garden for guest use as well as guest lounge. Beautiful 14th century farmhouse with lovely owners. Nothing was too much trouble for them but a bigger sign on the approach road would make it easier to find. Games and cards were provided if the weather had not been good. Our room was spacious and all the facilities spotless. Breakfasts were great with lots of choices and eggs fresh from their own hens. We had a most enjoyable stay. Friendly, warm welcome from Phil & Helen, to their B&B tucked away in the country. Breakfast, delicous and cooked to order. Fresh milk brought to the room daily, perfect, as I can not stand those UHT cartons! Lovely log fire in the lounge, ideal for relaxing and playing games with a glass of wine or two! We stayed there off season in the family room, which was really 2 rooms with a big bathroom in between, for a really good price. Lovely breakfasts, great feel to the place. Had a bit of triouble finding the place off the main road. Phil sent us some instructions on email that would have helped, but we didn't access pc whilst driving. We had a strange inundation of flies that seemed to have nested in the curtain, but it was quickly dealt with. There was nothing that we didn't like. Nothing disliked or unhappy about. Nothing ! The only thing which is a tiny thing....somewhere to put your shower gel when in the shower. location could be better signaled with a signpost from main road rather than in front of the cottage gates, the access road is not easy to spot but phoning Helen is a great help. Nothing. Nothing!. Would have liked a little more milk in room for hot drinks but probably would have been no problem if I had asked. Did not stay long enough!. Nothing. Although a lovely location there are no restaurants/shops within walking distance. We enjoyed it and there's not something we didn't like. letsbookhotel.com has this listed as superior, though very good, bathroom lacking in toiletries, sink had been cracked and repaired, also shower head small and low power. Also states 48sq mts! NOT. Shame as otherwise could not fault. Nothing. Very little, perhaps a little challenging to find, but hey we like it that way. Everything was satisfactory. It should be made clear on booking that its cash only.
