Set in its own attractive grounds, The Kenbury is a family-run bed and breakfast close to the beach, town centre and local transport. It boasts friendly staff and a good breakfast. All rooms have a private bathroom with fluffy towels and Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. They also come with tea/coffee making facilities. The bed and breakfast has a garden and a lounge in which guests can relax. The Kenbury bed and breakfast is just a 10-minute walk away from the train station, the bus station and the beach.

We enjoyed our short stay immensely. The staff were very polite and friendly. Excellent food, tasty, healthy, great variety. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed, central heating. The hotel is located in a very nice quiet area within an easy access to the station and the shops. The beach, Shanklin Chine and the old town are just a short walk away. Rooms were of a high standard and well maintained. Bathroom was small but perfectly formed with an excellent shower. Tea and coffee were plentiful and they had mugs! Breakfast was excellent with a good selection well prepared. A beautiful building.

Established hotel but lots of character. Well furnished and decorated in my room and the public areas. Little extras like the comp. water and a fan for the summer were appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel rooms and public areas are spotlessly clean. Sue made us very welcome, very pleasant and helpful. Food was well prepared and plentiful - lots of choice for breakfast. Would definately recommend.the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the service outstanding. The Kenbury was one of the best hotels we've stayed in,comfy bed, lovelybreakfast, super big bath sheet very clean and Sue is lovely!. The staff were friendly, we particularly liked the tea/coffee making facilities.They had also compiled a list of local restaurants.A very comfortable hotel in a peaceful setting and a good centrallocation for exploring Shanklin. The shower was a bit cramped in my room, but given all the positives (including the reasonable price) cant really complain.Shame only 4 car spaces but this was a minor point - plenty room in the road outside. The loo roll!!! But that's all!!. Only downside was in the bathroom...bath with mixer tap shower and therefore difficult to regulate the water temperature.when having a shower. Low water pressure a bit disappointing but, when you are staying for leisure, you don't mind if it takes an extra 5 minutes to run a bath. parking could be an issue. small room but plus points more than outweigh this.Radiator in our room was not working.
