O que as pessoas dizem
The room was excellent, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the restaurant team.
The hotel is very close to the main shopping area but still private when accessed through its courtyard. You are only five minutes from the harbour front where there is a large array of yatchs and a commercial harbour where ferries leave for other Channel Islands and Poole, Weymouth etc.
You can drive around the island of Guernsey quite easily in a day and there are many really good beache. todos opiniões »
We needed to shift from room 43 as the lack of hot water was unacceptable, but the reception were very helpful in finding an alternative, and room 17 was fine, though the sink was very awkward to negotiate. Breakfasts were excellent; quick service and individually cooked.
The hotel was really central. The rooms were very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The central courtyard beer garden was a lovely escape from the busy streets a few minutes walk away. The staff were really efficient and friendly.
The hotel was as it said it was , obviously with the Benifit of the main high street being so close made it a bonus , as I was traveling on my own to visit my family on the island , and was able to do a bit of window shopping !!!!.
Bed was comfortable, room pleasant and staff very helpful & polite nothing was too much trouble. Food & Drink reasonable & well presented. Easy access into St Peter Port. Really enjoyed our stay in Duke of Normandie.
Location, centre of St. Peter Port with parking. Room we stayed in very nice and hotel staff very friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast selection, second visit would certainly stay again.

but not too overbearing, breakfast choice is great and very well cooked
& tasty.location is perfect as my son only lives 10min walk away.

Very friendly relaxed Hotel & staff. Room very nice No 17. Adjoining
Admirals bar meals quite good, with my favourite beers. This time of
year nice and quiet.
Fantastic central location, close to the main high street for shopping, eating and drinking, and a short stroll to the main bus terminus.
Very comfortable room.
The room, executive type, was excellent.Everything provided was of the best quality & a lot of thought had been given to the comfort of the guest.
Great situation in the centre of town, boutique style, attractively set out round a courtyard, very comfortable, clean and laid out room.

St Peter Port.
Everything.
Staff were excellent, breakfast good, bed comfortable.
There was nothing to complain about re the hotel, however, take care to have a sat-nav if you drive there, as it isn't easy to find otherwise!.
The supply of hot water in room 43 was poor.
Nothing.
There was nothing wrong , would defently stay there again I was a happy bunny.
Unless they change the quality of the beefmince used in the
'italien' meatballs they are to be avoided and the sauce was
very watery.I Would like to see even just one cask ale I'm sure a
small barrel would go well.
Number of irritating points:
1. Room had no air on so windows at front and back had to be left open for cool.
2. As a result of 1 above disturbed at very early hours every day by noisy refuse collection.
3. Shower went from body temp to almost boiling during shower, very dangerous.
4. Ruck in carpet at foot of bed,
caused tripping.
Disappointing dinner in bar on first night, ate a local restaurants for remainder of week, many good ones to choose from.
Bar was rather noisy on Sat night.
Radiator didn't work in room (although an effective alternative was provided very promptly!).
Duck down quilt on bed too heavy for time of year.
Quite hard mattress on bed uncomfortable to sleep on.
Nothing......we cant fault it.
Parking was a bit limited with only 10 spaces available in the courtyard and the hotel was quite difficult to find.
Room 17 bathroom sink has not been fitted close enough to front of work-
top. If your 7 ft tall its fine. I think the installer made a mistake,
and did'nt rectify. &Quot; I run a plumbing business ".
Our room was quite cold in the afternoons and overnight. This may have been due to the fact that we were staying in one of the balcony rooms and I noticed it was the only one with a flat roof.
Busy at breakfast time with slow service.
Slight uphill walk
Very warm in room, but a fan was provided.
The bar was a bit shabby.
Rugby club returning at 2.00AM Sunday morning, banging doors and shouting.
Not enough channels on the TV.
Could not hook up to the wireless internet.
breakfasts should be bigger.
No shower in my particular room
Finish around bath required attention.
Room was a bit dingy and could have done with a refurb. Also sink of poor design and resulted in puddles of water on the floor.
No views from room.
The room, especially the bathroom which was far too small and poorly
laid out. At the sink if you bent down to wash your face your back was
touching the wall, the grout in the tiles in places was grubby and
missing and where the shower was over the bath ther were damp patches on
the ceiling. There was inadequate ventilation.
Staff were not over friendly, room was a bit small for the size of the bed, my husband kept banging his toe as he tried to walk around it, and you need to walk sideways.
Bathroom looked wonderful but beautiful modern square bath was quite high with no handles which made climbing in and out difficult.
Nothing could nt fault it.
1st night, a very noisy room (kids in room next door) on pub side of hotel.
Shower screen not very efficient. (Room 22).
Thin walls - could hear next door tv and talking very clearly at 7.30am!.
Nothing.
Car park is a little bit tricky to use.
The weather - it was too cold.
to few car park spaces, always worried that I would not be able to park, my bathroom was not replenished with soap & shower gel after day 1.
Music at breakfast. Too loud and unnecessary.
Nothing - good standard all araound.
Leaving.
Nothing.
Bar area too much like a public bar and needs refurbishing, ridiculous bathroom set up in room 18! basin round the wrong way, bath to difficult to access for the elderly and where oh where do you put the soap!!.
