  The hotel is very nice, the staff were excellent, the food was good, but i did think the breakfast was a bit expensive at £28 per person. - friendly staff, we lost the key and no problems replacing it, concierge helped with many telephone enquiries,

  I'd never stayed at The Athenaeum before but I will be back. Although I booked a standard double at a very deep discounted rate (typically this means getting the box room next to the staff quarters), I was given an apartment room which was really a suite. It was excellent and I cannot commend it highly enough. Excellent value for money. - The staf... o que as pessoas dizem » f was very friendly and helpful. The room service was prompt and the rooms were very clean.The hotel is very conviniently located. I would not hesitate to come back in the future.
