  I found the hotel very cosy and intimate. The bedroom was absolutly beautiful. Will definatly be coming back. - Warm and friendly even though a bit "posh". Room was lovely, food was great.village was really nice.

  The whole experience - the setting of the hotel in a historical village, the old building itself sympathetically decorated and furnished, but particularly the attentiveness and polite friendliness of staff. It was a Pearl Wedding celebration and the staff made it really special - a great place to be pampered and relax.   I came from USA for the Service of Blessing in St. Mary's. I just loved the whole of the Ickworth estate. It was great to be able to see the work done on the church and graveyard and be able to see where my family are buried. See the monument and where monument cottage stood.
