Also easy parking right outside hotel and although the hotel sits on a main road, it was extremely quiet. And possibly since it was my birthday, we received an upgrade on the room that I had booked.

The 2 nights spent at Blythswood was enjoyable from the moment we entered the door into the foyer, due to the ambience and the reception received from the staff on duty. I've stayed here several times and love it! From classy sours, daisies and cocktails in the bar, to the whisky complemented porridge and divine haddock & poached eggs for breakfast, there's nothing to fault at Blythswood. Staff can't do enough for you and embody the friendliness and humor that make Glasgow Glasgow. The spa is amazing and free evenings and mornings for guests. We only stayed one night, but Marion and Mike made us feel so very welcome from the moment we stepped in the front door. The Hotel was spotless. Our room was beautiful and the view was spectacular. We even managed to catch a glimpse of the sperm whale in the bay, from our bedroom window. Breakfast was excellent. This is one of the nicest Hotels in Oban (and we have been in a few) we will definitely be back; as we were so sorry we couldn't stay a couple more days. My parents were also visiting

welcoming and gracious owners had just returned from picking up another
"best of..." award. We only stayed one night, but it was our

Karen And Sean make you very welcome and nothing is too much in helping you enjoy you enjoy stay.Accommodation is excellent and great attention to detail has been made in providing great comfort in the bed, bath linen and room standards. The breakfast offer is amazing with 15 options, all of which are well thought through and mouth watering. A fantastic bed and breakfast and worthy of its 5 star rating and award winning food award.

Rhona is so friendly, we were made feel so welcome and relaxed from the moment we arrived. An absolutely stunning home with beautiful scenery and the upmost attention to detail. Breakfast was perfect, we had morning coffee on the deck admiring the amazing countryside views, wow. Wished we had stayed for longer, will definately return! -

Delicious breakfasts. Nice experience, staying in someone's home, which is like a boutique hotel, rather than in some chain hotel. Highly recommend. -
