We received a warm welcome from Dan and the rest of the staff that we encountered on our one night stay. We booked a classic room and was allocated 'The Pit' which was a very pretty, clean and well presented room. Good pub food in the evening and an excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Highly recommended for some country style R&R!!

The hotel was charming and inviting. The location was perfect for us. I was traveling with my daughter visiting another child that is taking a gap year and is in the Oxford Tutorial College. she was able to get to us and we got around the town wonderfully. The staff were all helpful and informative. The environment was cozy and warm which was greatly appreciated because the weather was chilly and wet. Would definitely recommend to others.

The rooms are quirky but incredibly comfortable with amazing views over the river - my room had four rooms with dual aspect. The jacuzzi was special and even the toiletries were excellent quality. I loved everything about The Boacardo and would recommend it to anyone. They went out of their way to give us an early check in, helped by holding our bags after our stay while we did a tour, recommended a good food pub, offered adapters, had quality toiletries, etc. Beds were comfortable, and temperature could be controlled by us.This was a delightful hotel which I would stay in again.
