Beautiful old building in superb village setting, but with up to date interior comforts. A really good menu and real ales served in an attractive restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would happily recommend this excellent establishment to anyone staying in or travelling through Kent. -

weekend trip to Dover to visit castle and cliffs. Gary was very
welcoming, and offered advice on where to eat locally and where best
to visit cliffs and was a perfect host. Superb choice for breakfast
and lovely clean and tidy guest house. Would not even consider
looking elsewhere for overnight stay when passing through Dover in
future. 10/10

A wonderful find booked at the last minute. Everything felt solid, genuine and generous, even the owners themselves. The family room was two adjoining bedrooms with real beds rather than sofa beds for the children, and very comfortable at that. Unexpected a nice place to stay. Firstly we have difficulty to find the location as not so many people around that area know. Even it is just a B&B, the room is kept in very high standard. Bed sheet, towels and every touchable area are clean. I saw that there are a corner in the house which they have books and DVD. Had stayed in a Travel Lodge in London in December and our room was freezing and didn't get much warmer. The room we had at the Premier Inn was a much more comfortable temperature and great that we could adjust that also. It was also nice and quiet - no voices or doors banging in the early hours. -

As always with a Premier Inn you know what you are getting the standard was good. We were in the new part of the building so everything was in good condition, light and airey.

The service was brilliant. We stayed with other members of family and had a meal in the restaurant which was great. The waiter who was assigned to us was fantastic and dealt with us in a friendly manner even when we changed things!! Breakfast was good as you could help yourselves to as much or as little as you wanted. There was a good selection

Brand new with smiley staff and their own restaurant which was excellent food and cheap compared to places in town. Ideal location for our visit to heritage/library for research. Easy to reach from M20. Huge room - generally excellent stay but missed cheap £29 deal which would have been the icing on the cake!

This Hotel was awarded 'Most Funkiest B&B' by the AA. If you visit, you will know why. Very friendly owners, very special rooms (all individually designed, in converted barn), and very good restaurant.

Pigeonwood House is a B & B. It was like going to stay with a friend . Mary Martin was welcoming & friendly but not overbearing so we felt completely relaxed. Views marvelous. Access via small winding country lanes - easy to get lost if you didn't have a good map.
Didn't go into Folkestone - but it is useful for onward travel
