Beautiful, quiet location high above the town of Shanklin, but only a5min walk to the middle of town and great restaurants. Hotel was clean,well presented, staff were very welcomming, helpful and a greatselection for breakfast. I cannot praise the Fernbank enough. The owner could not have been more helpful or hospitable. The hotel is beautifully decorated cared for. The public areas were very relaxing to sit in. The room I stayed in was spotless and very comfortable.

The staff were excellent and made you feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. The Hotel was furnished well and very comfortable, lovely gardens to relax in if the weather was good and a very nice heated indoor pool. Breakfast was excellent with a big choice and plenty of it. The Fernbank delivers a high quality of service and comfort and we would certainly go back.
